Mover and a Shaker

Mover and a Shaker is what they said about Johnny at his 6 month NICU appointment! Well, it turns out that Alexa is the mover and the shaker!! She started crawling at 6 1/2 months adjusted which is before even Ava! Johnny just started crawling military style about 2 weeks ago! Alexa is ALL over the house exploring everything! She's climbing stairs and has even stood on her own (only about 15 seconds)! Johnny is content to just stay and hang out and only crawls to pull up on things. He uses the blue chair (above) as a walker! Maybe Alexa will walk for her first Birthday Circus!

Ava's Ballet Recital...kinda!!

Ava's last ballet class was last week and it was one of the hilights of my summer not to mention one of the many reasons I wanted kids! She was fantastic but most of all she was having SOOO much fun! You could see it all over her face and hear it from her mouth!! It was the first time I was able to watch her do ballet (drop off class) so she was very excited that I was there! She came running to me about 20x during the performance and would tell me "Mommy I'm so happy you're here watching me ballet"!! The class was worth EVERY penny! It was priceless to see her so happy and having so much fun! I can't wait for all the other activities she'll soon do! Jack and Ava are signed up for soccer. This might be right up her alley...Is pushing allowed in soccer???

"Bestest Friend"

I was in the kitchen cooking and Jack and Johnny were alone in the family room and I heard Jack say to Johnny...."I love you Johnny! You're gonna be my Bestest Friend Forever"!!

The feeling is defenitely mutual! Johnny lights up the second Jack walks into the room! We've decided these guys will share a room in the new house....bestest friends forever!!

Singing In The Rain...

It's been raining here a lot so Jeff thought he'd make the best of it!! Ava put on her rain boots and Jack happily rain barefoot down the sidewalk! It was a mess to clean up but they sure had FUN!!

My Official Guess....

Well, I thought I'd officially put down in writing for everyone to see my guess for the sex of baby #5!! A BOY!! There's no turning back now and we won't know for sure until December!

Are there reasons I think it's a boy....YUP!! Let me first say I'm 4 for 4 and Jeff is 1 for 4!! Every pregnancy has been different so I'm not comparing too much to the others. I had an immediate gut feeling when I first found out I was preggers that it was a boy (had the same gut feeling for the rest of them), I'm craving salty things not sweets. Anyone who knows me knows I could have an iv of sugar running through my veins!! There's actually been a bag of M &M's in the pantry for days and I want NO part of them instead I'll make a ham sandwich for breakfast w/lots of cheese!! There was nausea but mostly just insanley exhausted. The nausea let up around 11/12 weeks and with Ava it lasted until 16 weeks, just sayin....

I could be completely wrong (Jeff thinks girl) but thinking I'm right again. I can't wait to meet this little guy/girl and find out for sure who will be the lucky baby to join this CIRCUS!! Boy or Girl they will be loved!!

Another trip to the hospital!!

Well Jack had another trip to Loyola's ER!! This time nothing serious! Jack was laying in our bed when he noticed a chocolate bar on my nightstand, he reached to get it and the marble on top of the table slid and then so did he slamming his cheekbone into the marble! OUCH!! Jeff and Poppy took him to the hospital to make sure it wasn't fractured and it wasn't! After it happened Jack was more worried about NOT going to the "hopital" then his face!!

So far no broken bones for the Solberg clan,....they're still young!!
